What Will You Study

Offered jointly by Lancaster University’s Management School (LUMS) and the Department of European Languages and Cultures, this four-year degree course offers you two options for combining Languages and Management Studies.

You can study French, German or Spanish Studies  as a joint major alongside in-depth courses on Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, Management and Organisations or Marketing. In your first year, you can take an additional language minor from French, German, Spanish and Italian together with an overview of the theory and practice of Management. Only one of the languages studied can start from beginner level.

On both variants, you will spend your third year abroad, either studying Management at a partner university or on a work placement.
