Community Benefits Fund
The Community Benefits Fund has been developed in order to share the benefits of Lancaster University Wind Turbine with the local community.
The fund offers grants to local community groups to fund community and environmental projects in Lancaster District (south and east of the River Lune) and has £20,000 available for its fourth round of funding (2016-17). There will be £20,000 available for grants in each subsequent annual funding round.
Applications for grants will be evaluated, and awards made by the Community Benefits Fund Steering Group, which is comprised of representatives from Local Parish Councils and Lancaster University.

When to Apply
Applications for funding for the Spring 2017 (Round 4) funding will be accepted from November 2016 until 28th February 2017. Decisions on funding awards will be made by April 2017.
