Event Details

All welcome. This workshop allows participants to understand the essential techniques of freehand ink-and-brush painting and to create their own ink and brush work of art according to Chinese practice. All materials will be provided.

Li Qingyu is a contemporary Chinese artist who has long devoted himself to freehand ink-and-brush paintings.

An exhibition of some of Li Qingyu's work will hang in The Roundhouse, Lancaster University from Sunday 1 March to Thursday 5 March 2026.
