Dr Jen Southern

Senior Lecturer

Research Overview

I reaserch more-than-human mobilities through contemporary art practice. I am interested in the relationships between technical, natural and human systems and I research them through focussing on how they move together. Recently I have been working with machine learning, seaweed, wearables and video. I am co-Director of the Centre for Mobilities Research (Cemore).
