Giorgia O’Donoghue is a postgraduate researcher at Lancaster University, specialising in the interdisciplinary intersection of Theology and English Literature. Her PhD research critically examines Flannery O’Connor’s literary engagement with Original Sin and its subversion through the Southern Gothic genre. She is fascinated by the interplay between the roles of Author and Theologian, as well as Gothic literature as the embodiment of the human condition in all its intricacies. Giorgia actively presents at conferences and applies her lived experience with neurodiversity to academic mentorship and inclusive pedagogy.
