Lucy is a PhD researcher working on her thesis, The Nervous Disorder and the Works of Byron. Her research focuses on the works of Lord Byron and the intersections of medicine and science within his poetry, and other writings of the early nineteenth century. She is interested in Romanticism and medicine, and intersections of literature and science.
