Experimental futures

We reimagine form and genre and the interface of different media. We have long been pioneers in adaptation studies and in exploring – for example through the post-critical journal Errant – how theoretical and philosophical schools of thought shade into different kinds of literary practice, spanning biography, translation, politics, theology and literary-critical experimentation.

We collaborate with local arts institutions like The Dukes Cinema as well as collectives like Jwllrs and Full of Noises, on adaptive musical praxis, cover cultures and text-aural reception, and text-aural transmission in and through mixed technologies of storage and parsing.
