An event to celebrate the release the edited collection, Digression in Deep Time: Ecocritical Approaches to Literature and the Arts (Bloomsbury). The collection imagines ways in which literature and art are able to imagine the far, far past and future. Readings to include: Deep time as a remedy to personal trauma; Deep time as Romantic sublime; Deep time and videogame dinosaurs. Speakers to include: Sarah Wagstaffe, Declan Lloyd, Warren Mortimer.
