English learners and first-language speakers welcome!

English Corner Summer Schedule:

• Thursday 16 July 2026 - Woodland Walk - Meet at Alexandra Square on 16th July at 5.30pm to go on a walk around the Woodland Walk on campus. Let’s practise English and take in nature together.

Location: Meet at Alexandra Square at 5.30pm.

• Wednesday 22 July 2026, 5.30pm - Bring your own crafts (colouring provided). Join us on 22nd July at 5.30pm in Bowland North Seminar Room 15 to do crafts and chat! Bring your own sewing, knitting, crocheting etc or do some colouring-in with the provided sheets and colouring pencils/ felt tips. Refreshments provided.

• Wednesday 29 July 2026 - Fairfield Nature Reserve Walk - Meet at the bus stop outside the Infirmary on 29th July at 5.30pm sharp for a walk in the Fairfield Nature Reserve. Take a break from the busy week, relax and practise English.

Location: Meet at the Infirmary bus stop (in town) at 5.30pm

• Wednesday 5 August 2026, 5.30pm - Games and chat - Join us on 5th August at 5.30pm in Bowland North Seminar Room 15 to play games, chat and practise English together. Refreshments provided.
