Event Details
This workshop explores the role of media and gender in developmentalism, an ideological framework that became dominant between the 1950s and the 1990s to conceptualise, discuss, and tackle global inequality.
With scholars working on different types of media (film, television, photography, digital media etc) and geographical areas, the workshop explores the possibilities of interdisciplinary and methodological exchange by placing gender at the core of its discussions. (See CFP for more details - link to CFP).
This is a free in-person event but registration required. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
