Permission to Muck About is a documentary film about the past, present and future of Design Research.

Permission to Muck About is a documentary film about the past, present and future of Design Research. The film is a collaboration between Dr David Philip Green and Dr Joseph Lindley, and was funded by Joseph's Future Leaders Fellowship.

The aim is to promote the value of practice as a way of making sense of the world, to provoke debate about the role of art, design, and science in 21st century, and to provide an accessible view on what Design Research is, where it has come from, and where it could be going.

We will be screening an abridged version of the film, which runs to around 45 minutes, and then have time for a Q&A and discussion and refreshments.
