We interact with schools, colleges, business, media and the public. If you’d like to arrange a school visit or get an expert opinion on language-related matters in the news we’re happy to help.

Visiting researchers

We run a visitors programme for researchers at other institutions who wish to spend between three months and one year in LAEL to complete an independent research project or to collaborate with Lancaster colleagues. Visiting researchers are encouraged to become part of our community by attending and presenting at research groups. You’ll have access to postgraduate taught courses and the university library. The visitors programme is administered by the Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences.
