Research Overview

She is interested in topics related to academic literacies, doctoral education, identity in writing, autoethnography, and linguistic ethnography. Her current research is about the academic literacy development of Indonesian PhD students in the UK. It examines the context of culture and the identity negotiations that Indonesian doctoral students bring into their academic and doctoral writing journey in the UK context. A qualitative methodology is applied through ethnographically informed design, talk around text approach, and autoethnography.
