Any vehicle not clearly displaying a valid permit/scratch card or pay and display ticket is liable to be issued with a Civil Parking Notice (CPN) regardless of whether you have bought a permit through the system or not. Penalty fee: £75, reduced to £45 if payment is received within 14 days. This is enforced by Lancaster University Security staff supported by an external facilitator, Liberty Services. Photographic evidence is taken and sent directly to Liberty Services for processing. University Security staff are not involved in the administration of taking payment of the CPNs.
If you do genuinely forget your parking permit you must call security on 94541 at the time of parking with your registration number to enable them to note it.
