Congratulations to the 207 undergraduate students from the Lancaster Environment Centre who graduated with a record number of higher grades this year.

This year 83.58% of our students got a  first or 2.1, which are particularly valued  by employers and universities.

This excellent result shows a continued rise in our success rate with the proportion of first and 2.1 degrees up from 79.38% in 2013 and 73% in 2012.

“This is a tribute to the ability and dedication of our students, and the enthusiasm and commitment of our staff,” said Dr Jennie Gilbert, Associate Director of Undergraduate Administration and Delivery at the Lancaster Environment Centre. “It shows that we continue to attract good students and that we teach them well.”

This result comes in the wake of good performances in the Guardian and the Complete university  league tables
