Over Autumn 2017 our Marketing Department will be hosting a lecture series which is designed to acquaint prospective students with an insight into the field of Marketing. Each seminar offers a methodical approach to the study of Marketing offering an in-depth introduction to the subject. The series is designed to be attended in sequence, from introduction session through to the concluding session. However, attendees are welcome to attend select sessions if they prefer.
Lecture Two: Putting Marketing into Practice (A Seminar Simulation)
Now that an introductory understanding of Marketing has been provided, this second session in our series looks at how you put Marketing into practice in the real-world. By merging theory and case studies together, this interactive session simulates a seminar experience, placing students in groups and asking them to offer Marketing solutions to case companies. In short students gain the opportunity to put Marketing theory into real-world practice, a crucial skill that is privileged here at Lancaster Marketing department.
