Dr Pavel ChakrabortyLecturer (Assistant Professor) in Economics
I am an applied micro-economist. My research focuses on the dynamics of firms in relation to international trade and economic development. In particular, I look at how changes in market conditions (e.g., trade policies, regulation, innovation policies, etc.) affect firm-level performance, product choice, innovation, organization, by utilizing firm and customs-level data.

PhD Supervision Interests
I would be happy to supervise PhD students with an interest in empirical international trade and development, and their overlap with an emphasis on working with trade agreements and/or firm-level datasets.
