This seminar, with Dr David Perfect, draws on examples from recent EHRC research projects on religion, belief and pay gaps to discuss the process of engaging in research to influencing policy and change. Open to faculty and doctoral students, this will be an interactive seminar with opportunity to examine ways in which we can incorporate pathways to impact in our research.
Dr David Perfect has been a Research Manager at the Equality and Human Rights Commission since 2007 and held a similar position at the Equal Opportunities Commission from 1988 to 2007. He primarily works on equality issues in employment and on religion or belief from a research and policy perspective. He is also a Visiting Research Associate at the University of Chester.
