If you are based in the UK and have an opportunity to visit us, this is of course the very best way to discover for yourself what Lancaster has to offer.
University-wide postgraduate visit days
The University holds postgraduate visit days twice a year, typically in early Spring (February or March) and in mid-summer (June). These allow to talk through your options with members of faculty. See forthcoming open days
Some departments and programmes within LUMS may also hold informal open days for prospective students or can make personal appointments for you to talk with a member of staff. For further details, see the individual Masters programme pages or email LUMS reception.
If you can't get to Lancaster in person, there are various other ways you can find out more:
- Take part in one of our 'virtual chats'
These regular events give you the chance to talk directly online to admissions staff and in some cases to current students on the programme you are interested in. See the programme of forthcoming chats
- Meet our staff at higher education fairs
We regularly attend events around the world. For the latest updates of where we will be, follow us on Facebook and Twitter
- Get advice from one of our agents
Advice is also available from the University's network of agents in various countries. Check your country
- Speak to one of our alumni advisers
These former students from various countries are willing to give informal advice based on their own personal experiences. Find out more.
- Speak to one of our Postgraduate Student Ambassadors
Ask a current student on the course you want to study what it is like. Email us to be put in touch with an ambassador.
