The Centre for Enhancement of Learning & Teaching (CELT) provides services to students to support and enhance learning, including:
LUVLE
The Lancaster University Virtual Learning Environment (LUVLE) is used by most departments for information dissemination (for example, lecture notes, handouts, example exercises, etc.), communication outside the lecture/tutorial format (e.g. on-line discussions, question and answer forums, etc.) and coursework submission. Each of your courses and lecturers may use LUVLE in different ways
Your own 'My Modules' page is a LUVLE page that lists all the web spaces used by the modules you have registered for; at appropriate times this page also includes links to other information such as your personal teaching and exam timetable. Log on to http://domino.lancs.ac.uk/mymodules using your University network username and password.
Online Assessment is used by a number of departments, mainly to enable you to check your own progress and understanding of your subject; there is a link to your assessments on your MyModules page.
For information about LUVLE and online assessment, including worksheets, frequently asked questions, and a map showing where we are, see Learning Technology Group website.
MyPlace
MyPlace is your private and social web space to record and share reflections on your learning, explore your goals and aspirations, think about future careers, and support your personal development.
You can see other people's articles and provide comments/feedback to them. You can share ideas with other people at the University, for instance other students on your course, or your tutor - and elicit comments/feedback from them.
To log on use your Windows network username and password.
