What Will You Study

Our Business Studies degrees give you a broad and practical overview of how businesses and managers operate in an international environment and provide you with an excellent foundation in the core disciplines of management studies. This course will develop your personal skills including critical reflection, research analysis, analytical reasoning, group working, report writing, and presentation skills.

The core concepts and theories of contemporary management practice are taught throughout your studies. Alongside this you will specialise in two subject areas that focus upon key management disciplines. 

On the Business Studies (Study Abroad) degree you will have the opportunity to spend the second year of your course undertaking similar modules in one of our partner universities.

Business Studies at Lancaster University gives you the opportunity to study in every department of the Management School. This flexible degree allows you to select specialist subject areas to create the degree that you want, while developing your core understanding of the role of contemporary management in the global society.
