Insight visits to employer sites
We can bring Lancaster students to you!
One of the most effective ways you can engage with our students is through insight visits. On average, 90% of the students who visit an employer intend to make an application following their visit.
Capital Connections
Do you have an office in central London or Manchester? If so, you can be part of our series of employer visits. Every spring, we take of group of around 30 Widening Participation students to visit London and Manchester and learn about the wide range of careers on offer. Each employer visit lasts around 2 hours and usually involves a presentation on the company, networking with recent graduates, and a tour of the office.

Insight Days
Throughout the academic year, we host 4 or 5 individual employer site visits. We work with the employer to set a suitable date and time and promote the visit to their target students. Each visit is different and we work with the employer to create an experience that works for them, from as little as 2 hours, to a longer 4 hour visit with workshops and events.

It has given me a much clearer plan forward and explained the early steps needed to find a future career which weren't so apparent to me, while also simplifying a lot of situations that seemed complex at first
