DSNE @vEGU21
Posted on

Every year the European Geosciences Union (EGU) general assembly (https://www.egu21.eu/) is held in April or May in Vienna. It is one of the largest environmental science and geoscience meetings in the world. Due to COVID-19, the conference will be held fully online for the second year in a row. Many DSNE staff members will be attending the conference between 26th to 30th April this year and are contributing to a series of talks (see full list below). Click on the hyperlinks to the entry hosted on the EGU website to view its abstract (no registration needed).
Note the virtual format this year—the presenter has 2 minutes to introduce their work at the allotted time and a video and text chat is open immediately after each session for discussion. Presenters are also encouraged to upload materials (e.g. slides, recording) to the conference website. Registered attendees can view the uploaded materials in the respective abstract page on the EGU website by clicking the ‘chart’ icon before, during and after the meeting.
Stay tuned to this blog in subsequent weeks for highlights at the conference.
