Python introduction to netCDF (using iris and xarray) - 13:00 Tuesday 30th March
We are pleased to kick-off the Python session of CEEDS coding group for Lancaster University and UKCEH meet on Teams.
Matt Amos (PhD student at LEC) will kickstart on Python introduction to netCDF (using iris and xarray) (13:00 - 14:00 Tuesday 30th March)
Matt will do a whistle-stop tour of netCDF, iris and xarray including reading, plotting, subsetting, some commonly used processes (regridding, resampling) and how he has used these tools to turn netCDFs into Machine Learning (ML)-ready data. Then there'll be time for questions and coding problems.
Everyone is welcome to join us in CEEDS coding group #use-python to learn and share python skills. We post meeting topics and the Teams link in Slack's #use-python channel.
