Terms and Conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to current Lancaster University students in the UK only.
  2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this prize draw.
  3. Entry into the prize draw will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  4. The rules of the prize draw and how to enter are as follows: Entrants must complete and submit the Freedom Eats Feedback Survey, entering their university email address in the final part of the survey to be entered into the draw. The survey runs until 5pm on Friday 12 December 2025. Beyond this date, no further entries to the prize draw will be accepted.
  5. The winner will receive the prize of a Freedom Eats Plan, entitling them to one meal per weekday for term 2 of the academic year 2025/26, which can be redeemed at any of the five participating outlets in the Freedom Eats scheme: The Marketplace, The Deli, HIVE, Barkers, and The Mill (Fylde Bar). The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Lancaster Campus Life is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this prize draw.
  6. The winner will be chosen at random by the Lancaster University Retail team by Friday 19 December 2025.
  7. The winner will be notified by email. The email address provided in the survey will not be used to send promotions from Lancaster Campus Life, Lancaster University Retail or shared with a third party.
  8. The winner may be announced on the Lancaster Campus Life stories. This announcement could include the name of the winner.
  9. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social network.
  10. All data and information you provide will be to the Lancaster University Retail team and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at www.lancaster.ac.uk/compliance/privacy under section ‘Students’.
  11. Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  12. Winners have the right to withdraw themselves from the competition, prior to any winner announcement as well as receiving their Freedom Eats Plan prize. If consent is withdrawn, then it will not invalidate any processing of personal data carried out whilst the consent was valid.
