Welcome to The Marketplace

Situated on North Campus in County South, The Marketplace is a relaxed and modern dining space, serving wholesome, nutritionally balanced meals throughout the day. There is a daily changing lunch and dinner menu, please check in-store to see what's on offer!

The Marketplace is one of Lancaster University’s catered accommodation venues and one of five outlets included in Freedom Eats, a pre-paid student dining scheme offering significant savings of up to 50% on food and drink in participating outlets.

Menu

Breakfast

Breakfast is served from 7.30am until 10.30am, Monday to Friday and from 8am until 11am, Saturday and Sunday.

Enjoy a variety of cooked and continental breakfast options, including nutritious cereals, pastries, breakfast rolls, and the classic full English breakfast. Barista-made Costa Coffee is also available during breakfast service and remains open until the evening.

Lunch and dinner

Lunch is served from 12pm until 2pm, Monday to Friday and dinner from 5pm until 7pm Monday to Sunday.

The Marketplace features a daily changing menu with two meat and one vegetarian option, as well as a variety of hot sides and a fresh salad bar. You can also find a selection of freshly prepared Bailrigg Food Co sandwiches, cakes, snacks, and soft drinks.
