This page outlines the Terms & Conditions for the Eurovision Watch Party social media competition hosted on Grizedale Bar's Instagram account.

1. The competition is open to current Lancaster University students in the UK only.
2. There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
3. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
4. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows: Entrants must like the competition post, share the competition post to their stories, and tag a friend they would take to Grizedale Bar’s Eurovision Watch Party in the comments of the competition post.
5. The competition runs from Friday 16 May 2025 at 7am, to Saturday 17 May 2025 at 6pm. Outside these dates, no further entries to the competition will be accepted.
6. The winner will receive the prize of a Lancaster University Eat Card, entitling them to £20 that can be spent in The Marketplace, Hive, The Deli, Pendle Brew, The Mill (Fylde Bar), Barkers, County Bar, Trevor, and Grizedale Bar. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Lancaster Campus Life is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
7. The winner will be chosen at random by the Lancaster Campus Life team on Monday 19 May 2025.
8. The winner will be notified by direct message via Instagram. They will be asked to provide an email address, so arrangements can be made to deliver the prize. The email address provided will not be used to send promotions from Lancaster Campus Life or shared with a third party.
9. The winner will be announced on the Lancaster Campus Life stories. This announcement will include the name/social media handle of the winner.
10. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social network. Entrants also release Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or any other social network of any responsibility by participating in the promotion.
11. All data and information you provide will be sent to Lancaster Campus Life and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the following Privacy Policy found at www.lancaster.ac.uk/compliance/privacy under section ‘Students’.
12. Personal data collected as part of this competition, for both successful and unsuccessful entrants, will only be retained for the period necessary to administer the giveaway and notify the winner.
13. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely under current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
14. Entrants should be aware that once data is uploaded to social media platforms, Lancaster Campus Life does not exert control over future use, sharing, or security, and Lancaster Campus Life does not control or have influence over the social media platforms’ retention of data as outlined in their privacy policies.
15. Winners have the right to withdraw from the competition prior to any social media winner announcement and receipt of their Eat Card prize. If consent is withdrawn, then it will not invalidate any processing of personal data carried out whilst the consent was valid.
