Following the General Election of 2024 the incoming government will face a series of major challenges in reconstructing an education system which is seriously floundering after a decade of austerity and then COVID.

Whichever party is elected the problems are daunting. This seminar will address the issues which need to be faced up to, and the possible solutions which may emerge.

The seminar will draw on this blog: https://www.bera.ac.uk/blog/the-politics-of-reforming-secondary-education but will run through the whole education range.
