This workshop brings together Lancaster University academics working on health and care across all disciplines with key external stakeholders to imagine future landscapes of health and care for the region.
This workshop brings together Lancaster University academics working on health and care across all disciplines with key external stakeholders to imagine future landscapes of health and care for the region.
The workshop will be run by Dr Benjamin Dalton (Languages and Global Cultures, School of Global Affairs), Dr Michael Lambert (Medical Humanities, Lancaster Medical School), and Dr Fanny Chabrol (Medical Anthropology, CEPED, Paris).
The workshop takes place within the context of the New Hospitals Programme (NHP) and the National Neighbourhood Health Implementation Programme (NNHIP), two national initiatives currently imagining the future of health/care provision. We are interested in how interdisciplinary health/care research across the arts, humanities, social sciences, architecture, design, biomedical sciences, cyber, and beyond can offer critical and creative tools for challenging current mappings of healthcare imaging the health/care landscapes and environments of the future.
