On behalf of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and the Programme Directors, I would like to invite you to our annual MSc Data Science, Health Data Science and Cyber Security Poster Conference.

The conference will take place during the afternoon of Friday 15^th September at Lancaster University Management School and will be formally opened at 13:30 by Prof. Steve Bradley, the University’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor.

At the conference, our MSc students will demonstrate the work that they have performed during their summer projects. Over 150 of our students have applied their skills to topics ranging from monitoring the dynamics of the Amazon rainforest, identifying vulnerability to social engineering attacks, and using AI to predict the occurrence of disease.

Coffee will be available from 13:15 and the conference will open at 13:30 with addresses from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Programme Directors. Attendees will then be able to meet the students to discuss their posters, as well as meeting their fellow project hosts and the University’s academics. Further refreshments will be served during the poster session. All attendees will be invited to cast their vote for this year’s best poster, with a presentation being made to the winner around 15:30.
