A two-part event at Lancaster Castle. Morning session with Dr Sarah Rose (Lancaster University) and Dr Christopher Tinmouth on Richard III as Lord of the North. In the afternoon, Dramatizing Richard III features Professor Alison Findlay (Lancaster Univ) in conversation with author Philippa Gregory.
The SOLD OUT morning event is in the Lancaster Suite learning space. Ticket price includes a tea/coffee/biscuit break but no lunch is provided.
The afternoon event (tickets still available) is in the newly-renovated Castle Keep. Philippa Gregory will focus on her play Richard, My Richard in a two-hour conversation with Professor Alison Findlay (School of Arts, Lancaster University). This will be illustrated by performed dramatic excerpts, giving an insight into Philippa's creative engagement with history. This will be followed by a Q&A session and an opportunity to purchase signed copies (cash only, £25) of her new novel Boleyn Traitor.
Tickets can be booked for both events, or for the afternoon session with Philippa Gregory only.
