You are invited to join our speakers from FST, FHM, LUMS for an interdisciplinary forum on Sustainability in Research Across Lancaster University. This event will be hosted by Dr Seth Robinson and the Wellcome Trust Reimaging Research Practices Team.
In the morning session, we will have lightning talks and a panel to discuss how researchers are engaging across the university. The afternoon session will be a workshop in the unconference style where researchers have a chance to connect with colleagues across departments to discuss funding opportunities and grant ideas. Staff from Research Enterprise Services will be present to help facilitate this session. By the end of the day, you will leave with a renewed sense of incorporating environmental sustainability in research and a network of cross-departmental connections to support sustainable practices in research. Join us to see how a more cohesive approach can benefit both your work and Lancaster University as a whole. We look forward to your attendance.
Please feel free to attend the whole day or parts of the day as your schedule allows. The morning session is 10am-12noon, afternoon session is 1pm to 3pm (room reserved until 4pm). This is a free event; a cold lunch and refreshments will be provided, and booking is essential.
