In this LUCC summer seminar, Dr Zhongming Zhang of Engineering will compare the state of research into “artificial suns” across the UK, China and the US.

Dr Zhongming Zhang of Engineering will compare the state of nuclear fusion research — including the famed “artificial suns” — in the UK, China and the US. The case offers an interesting example of the dynamics of international science under geopolitical pressure.
