Together with the Confucius Institute, DeCL will be hosting the 'Lancaster Translation and Intercultural Communication' Conference on Friday July 1st. Our academic partners are Xidian University and Guangdong University of Foreign Studies School of English Education (SEE).

The online conference provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, experts and students to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the field of interpreting and translation. The conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research findings in all aspects of languages and translation research.

The Lancaster Translation and Intercultural Communication Conference will be from 7.00am BST (2.00pm CST) to 10am BST (5pm CST) on Friday 1 July.

A special issue for the The International Journal of Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Teaching (IJCALLT) will also be created from the original and high-quality studies submitted to the 'Translation and Intercultural Communication Conference'. The objective of this special issue is to share innovative ideas, e-platform teaching skills, and interactive practices in teaching and learning translation and intercultural communication.
