Eden Bear Explores Sustainability on Campus
Eden Bear explored around Lancaster University campus on Morecambe Bay Day, looking at a few of the different sustainability initiatives.
Eden Bear discovered a bicycle repair station near the library, full of all sorts of tools for fixing bikes. Then they went into the ReStore shop in Alexandra Square to buy some more shampoo, where there were lots of lotions and potions available for refilling empty bottles.
Eden Bear has seen lots of building work and big cranes on campus this year. They are building a new power station which will not require any fossil fuels. This is part of the university's Net Zero plan. Eden Bear was amazed by the massive tanks holding the hot water to heat all the buildings.

To end the adventure, Eden Bear had a lovely walk in the woods, hugging a tree and looking up at all the leaves.
