In the Summer term the Morecambe Bay Curriculum will be launching the ‘Little Researchers’ project, aimed at supporting primary eco-councils.

The Morecambe Bay Curriculum team are developing four sessions for eco-councils, where children can learn, set a question, research their topic and draw conclusions. These sessions can be delivered in one day, or over a number of weeks between June and July.

Eco-councils will have a budget of up to £100 to be spent on eco-equipment for your school and/or tools to undertake their research.

Sessions will be developed with outdoor learning experts, climate science adademics and educators, delivered by trained Lancaster University students.

There may even be an opportunity for your pupils to visit Lancaster University and deliver their research to their academic colleagues.

The Little Researchers project, is FREE for primary schools, but places are limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
