Lancaster University’s new Chancellor Alan Milburn was treated to a private preview of the Undergraduate Fine Art Degree Show at the Peter Scott Gallery this week.

Mr Milburn toured the ’Unearthed’ exhibition, which hosts exhibits by 27 students. The show is the culmination of three years of developing practices and demonstrates the collaboration of talented young final year art students.

The exhibition is organised by the students and financed through their fundraising efforts along with donations from Lancaster University Alumni, donors and friends.

This diverse display of art is open to the public from June 16 to 24. Visitors to the exhibition will see the artefacts that have been ‘unearthed’ during the students’ journeys as artists.
