Who We Are
The Regional Heritage Centre was established in 2014. It encompasses the Centre for North-West Regional Studies, which was founded in 1973, and the Victoria County History for Cumbria.
Our aim is to foster engagement between Lancaster University and the regional community in the field of cultural heritage. We have an Advisory Board comprised of representatives of heritage bodies around the North West, as well as a Steering Group which takes its membership from the School of Global Affairs and elsewhere in the University.
