Keyboard Bashing: a review

In this talk, I will try to cover some important lessons from my PhD and beyond. These are typically some form of keyboard bashing: meant as rushing an implementation or technical decision. Covering some research topics, I will review some examples of decisions that I rushed (or defaulted) and the significant extra effort that it entailed. The seminar will also include some (of my own) strong opinions on different software topics and our position in the job market.
