The joint Bayes4Health/CoSInES workshop ran from the 16th to 19th of September 2019 and was the first in a series of workshops that will be held by the two grants. The workshop focused on methodological themes shared by the two grants and the different application areas that they will target. The aim was to share and discuss recent advances in statistics that aim to develop principled approaches to learn from large and complex data, together with their application across a range of Health, Medical, Engineering and Security challenges.
Each year, Lancaster University's Bayesian Data Science for Health runs a workshop that covers the application of statistics to health. Links to each workshop's page can be found below.
The 2021 Bayes4Health workshop will take place in Cambridge, UK, from Tuesday 14th to Thursday 16th September. The workshop will cover research ranging from statistical methods for Covid-19 and applications of statistics to health more generally, to recent advances in Bayesian and computational statistics.
