Lancaster Arts is delighted to welcome back VERVE, the internationally-touring postgraduate company of the Northern School of Contemporary Dance, last seen in the Nuffield Theatre in 2019.

Each year the company commissions choreographers from all over the world to create an artistically distinct and physically daring dance programme. This evening’s performance offers a visually striking triple bill of new contemporary dance works by Jamaal Burkmar, winner of the highly prestigious ‘New Adventures Choreography Award’, Faye Tan of the National Dance Company of Wales and acclaimed Spanish duo, KOR’SIA. VERVE comprises eighteen dancers, trained at some of the world’s leading conservatoires.
