Agreed Terms
These are the Terms upon which we, Lancaster University, Lancaster, LA1 4YW ("we" or "us"), shall provide the Freedom Pass Purse to you to enable you to pre-purchase meals in our restaurants as the catering element of the Freedom Pass option.
1. Basis of Sale
a) The price of the Freedom Eats Pass 10/11 week and Freedom Eats Plus Pass 10/11 week is stated on the online store, pre-paid student dining scheme.
b) Prices are liable to change at any time, but price changes will not affect Orders once they have been made.
c) Payments for the Freedom Pass are to be made through the online store. The options will be available 4 weeks prior to the start of term.
d) Payments must be made for the whole term up to and including week 10. On occasion, varying lengths of product may be made available.
e) Without limiting any other remedies or rights that we may have if you do not pay us on time, we may cancel or suspend your Freedom Eats Pass.
2. Using the Freedom Eats scheme
a) The Freedom Eats scheme entitles you to one, two or three meals per day depending on outlet opening hours. During the academic term five days per week (Monday to Friday)
b) Freedom Eats Plus is available which entitles you to one, two or three meals a day during the academic term seven days per week.
c) The Meal Credits shall be cleared upon each usage of the card or, in default thereof, on a daily basis. For the avoidance of doubt, Meal Credits are non-transferable and cannot be carried over to the next day in the event that you miss a meal.
d) You may use the Freedom scheme on your Lancaster Card to claim your pre-paid meal credits.
e) We reserve the right to vary the times when the Catering Services will be provided and any revised or varied times will be advertised.

3. Price and Payment
a) Prices will remain fixed for the year.
b) Payments for the Freedom Eats scheme are to be made through the online store.
c) Payments must be made for the whole term up to and including week 10.
d) Without limiting any other remedies or rights that we may have, if you do not pay us on time, we may cancel or suspend your Freedom Eats scheme membership.
e) Your Freedom Eats card is activated the first Monday after payment is made. This can be done quicker but is discretionary.
4. General
a) If any court or competent authority decides that any of the provisions of these Terms are invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, the term will, to that extent only, be severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
b) No waiver by us of any of these Terms shall be effective unless we expressly say that it is a waiver and we tell you so in writing.
c) A person who is not party to these Terms shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
d) These Terms shall be governed by English law and we both agree to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
