Hi! Welcome to the Digital Humanities Hangouts (DHangouts). This space is dedicated to keeping the conversation on all things DH going while the COVID-19 crisis lasts, but also to just hangout among friendly people. All are welcome to join these sessions.

Dr Sarah Oberbichler (University of Innsbruck) will present 'Digital Methods for Corpus Building: Tracing Migration Discourses in Historical Newspapers'.

Join us on Friday 25th June at 3pm BST and please share this invitation with anyone who may be interested.

FYI: This session will be the last DHangout before we take a break over the summer, so we hope you can make it. If not, we will see you when we return around September/October (details to follow).

  • Turn your webcam off in the bottom bar
  • Questions and comments will be taken through the Chat
  • Feel free to use the chat as you see fit, say hello, give your opinion, or share a picture of your pet, whatever you want!

We hope you enjoy the session and do let us know if you want to give a talk, propose a topic, or suggest another format for future sessions.

The DHangouts are a joint collaboration between the Ghent Centre for Digital Humanities, the Digital Humanities Lab at NOVA University Lisbon, and the Digital Humanities Hub at Lancaster University.
