Lunchtime seminars return - and hybrid events begin!

Tuesday, April 22 marked the long-awaited return of in-person LUCC events, after more than two years online-only.
It was also LUCC's first-ever hybrid event, with half of the participants joining online, and the other half enjoying a free lunch on campus.
We were delighted to welcome Dr Tao Wang of Manchester China Institute, who had the audiences enthralled — both online and offline – with a vivid account of the role of guanxi in Taiwanese politics.
Be sure to RSVP to china.centre@lancaster.ac.uk to join our next lunchtime event on April 4, with Prof. Lee Jones of Queen Mary University of London presenting his new book, Fractured China on April 4.
