Research collaboration & engagement with China - 14th November 2023


On 14th November,  this workshop will bring together the knowledge base in such a community and explore opportunities and pathways for acquiring research collaboration funding from China or with Chinese partners. Researchers with current or previously funded research projects supported by funders or partners from China are also invited to share their experiences.

The academic community of Lancaster University is well connected with China or China-relevant research activities. This can be proven by the increasing number of Lancaster University China Centre members and early career researchers based on the Weihai campus. This event will bring together the knowledge base in such a community and explore opportunities and pathways for developing research opportunities and acquiring research collaboration funding from China or with Chinese partners.

On November 14, this workshop will bring together the knowledge base in such a community and explore opportunities and pathways for acquiring research collaboration funding from China or with Chinese partners. Researchers with current or previously funded research projects supported by funders or partners from China are also invited to share their experiences.

We have 30 seats available. Any researchers, including faculty members, postdocs and last-year PhD students, are encouraged to apply. Priorities will be given to those who have never worked with China-relevant funding or researchers but have a strong interest in doing so.

The event will be hosted in Infolab C60. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

This workshop is organized by LUCC and Lancaster University Global Engagement Team.
