Research Overview

His research addresses the critical challenge of eradicating forced labour and modern slavery from global supply chains. His work focuses specifically on the textile and apparel sector in developing countries, investigating how new forms of governance can drive meaningful change.

He specialises in developing innovative models for public-private partnerships that strategically place non-governmental organisations (NGOs) at the centre of oversight and implementation. The primary output of this research is the creation of actionable frameworks designed for industry. These frameworks provide a clear pathway for businesses to align robust human-rights due diligence with long-term sustainability and commercial objectives, demonstrating that ethical governance is integral to building resilient and profitable supply chains.
