Host bios:

Dr Divya Jyoti started her career in India working in the textile industry after completing a degree in fashion technology. Starting in garment factories she eventually found herself working with charities in the development sector, questioning the role of corporations in contemporary society. She is now an ethnographer reflecting on questions of ethics, morality, and mortality.

Dr Craig Jones is a human geographer now working as a Lecturer in Management and Society. His research into the New Space Economy and asteroid mining has led him to work in multiple interdisciplinary teams, with his work and interests spanning geography, sociology, anthropology, politics, philosophy, and science and technology studies. Alongside these areas and their relations to sustainability, he is also interested in the research experience and questions of belonging and wellbeing within and throughout the academic system.

Dr Josi Fernandes is Lecturer in Marketing. Josi is interested in projects related to the (re)organisation of markets to meet the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Current projects include sustainability in energy and food. Her work has been published in the Journal of Business Research, Academy of Marketing Science Review, and British Journal of Management.
