The Sociology Department celebrates diversity and strives to provide an equal educational opportunity for all undergraduate and postgraduate students, regardless of their gender or personal background.

Action Plan

As part of our submission, we designed a four-year action plan to address some of the equality issues identified around recruitment, development and departmental culture. The departmental Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) committee is responsible for ensuring the realisation of the plan. This webpage will be updated termly with progress updates.
