Tear, tape, rip and recycle: join visual artist Rose Miller for a free, sustainable-sculpture-making workshop for families this October half-term.
Inviting you to look closely, see clearly and imagine freely, Rose will guide you in 3D making using a variety of recycled and natural materials.
About
- Suitable for ages 6+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Come dressed in clothes than can get messy.
Rose Miller is a visual artist based in Manchester. She works across stop motion animation, prop making, theatre, outdoor and community arts. In her own practice, Rose works in free hand machine embroidery on canvas. Her work ranges from organic forms, to minimalist block colours. Using layered combinations of coloured thread, Rose creates painterly illustrations with complex textures from the natural grain of the threads.
