Building on the already very successful campus-based programme, this distance learning course offers convenience and flexibility in terms of study time and location. Delivered entirely online the programme is designed to introduce students to the fields of diplomacy and international law and leads to a LLM. This programme is also available as a MA with a slightly different module choice and dissertation.
The programme draws upon modules from the Department of Politics, Philosophy and Religion and the Law School. It begins in early October, with an online orientation session conducted through a virtual learning environment (VLE) and web conferencing system. This introduces students to course tutors, familiarises students with the requirement of the programme and online learning tools and resources (eg VLE, discussion forum, e-library etc.). The programme aims to help students to realise their academic potential, by encouraging choice and independence in their studies. Based on the distance learning pedagogical principles, it employs a wide variety of online learning tools to enhance students' learning experience.
The programme has proved very popular and we recommend you submit your application and all supporting documentation as early as possible.
